Children and Young People

Children and Young People are an integral part of the worshipping community of all three churches.

Sunday Schools

Immanuel and St Paul’s churches both have a Sunday School for children up to the age of 11, which meets during the main Sunday Morning Service. Just turn up on a Sunday morning and you will be made very welcome.

Parish Youth Group

This group has grown from the group of young people who were prepared for confirmation in February 2023. It is a thriving group of young people who meet monthly on a Friday evening for a mixture of fun and fellowship. They also attend the Friday Praise services. The young people come from all three churches and new members are always welcome.
For more information please contact the Parish Office.

Puppet Ministry

The Puppet Group ‘No Strings Attached’ is an enthusiastic group of young people who work hard to bring our puppets to life. They regularly appear at services across the parish, particularly Friday Praise and the One Parish Celebration Services. They are based at St Paul’s church, and often rehearse on a Sunday Morning, new members are always welcome.

Uniformed Organisations

We welcome the Uniformed Organisations to our Family and Parade Services on the first Sunday of the month at St Paul’s Church.

Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts all meet weekly in the parish and are always on the lookout for more members and helpers. We would love to restart Rainbows, if you could help please contact the parish office.
